What is a Medicare Advantage Plan?
Private companies, approved by Medicare to cover your Medicare benefits, offer Medicare Advantage Plans, also called Medicare Part C.
When you opt for and join a Medicare Advantage Plan, the plan will provide all of your Medicare Part A and Part B coverage, instead of it being provided by the government. This is different from Medicare Supplement Insurance, also known as Medigap.
There are different types of Medicare Advantage Plans, and here at Integrity Insurance Services, we can help you navigate these waters and make the right decision based on your needs. In brief, a Medicare Advantage Plan can either be an HMO, where you can only go to doctors in your network, except in an urgent situation, or a PPO Plan, doctors in the network cost less to use, but you also have the option to see doctors out of your network. There are many other details to HMO and PPO Plans, and have many factors to consider, and we are here to clarify and answer any questions you may have, as well as discuss coverage details with you. Another option may be an SNP, a Special Needs Plan, for some of us that have other medical conditions or special needs.
A Medicare Advantage Plan will cover all the services that original Medicare covers. The important thing to remember, in all types of Medicare Advantage Plans, you are always covered for emergency and any urgent care needs.

"After having secondary insurance coverage for ten years with a large national insurance company that had extremely poor customer relations skills (and a company representative who rarely would return my calls), it was like a breath of fresh air to have found Rebecca through my financial planner.
Rebecca is the consummate professional. She responds to telephone calls and emails in a timely manner; she is very knowledgeable about a variety of insurance products; she describes these options with respect, clarity, and patience; and, her empathy, and kindness are beyond reproach. In short, the name of her business is so appropriate, because she is, without a doubt, a woman of INTEGRITY!"
